All information provided by customers is dealt with securely and only used for processing of orders and communication. Personal information provided by our customers will not be shared with third parties. All payment and credit card information is handled securely by PayPal. We have no access to customers' credit card or financial information.
Payment
Online: All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. PayPal payments are acceptable using Visa or Mastercard, not including Diners and American Express cards. You do not need to have a PayPal account.
Bank Transfer: Electronic bank transfers are acceptable for orders placed via email. Please email orders to enquiries@contempohomewares.com.au and we will respond with the shipping charge and details of our nominated account for your payment. The order will be shipped once the payment has been cleared in our account.
Shipping
We ship Australia wide only and use Australia Post and Fastway Couriers to deliver our products. You can choose either Standard or Express Postage with Australia Post. We highly recommend that larger or higher priced items be delivered by Fastway Couriers. Shipping will be calculated during the checkout process. You will be notified of the charges before your transaction is finalised.
Shipping charges for any heavy or large items are based on the size and weight of the parcel. Extra postage/shipping may be payable, upon Contempo Homewares' discretion, if this should occur. We will contact you regarding any extra postage/shipping costs prior to sending your order.
Orders will be shipped within 48 hours of receipt, unless your order is placed on a Saturday or Sunday. In which case an additional 24-48 hours may be required to pack and ship your order. Please allow up to 7 days delivery time.
We have inventory of our products and endeavor to keep our stock levels up to date. If, for some reason, an item is not in stock or unavailable you will be notified and given the option to back order, change or cancel the item.
Our furniture items, and some of our artwork, are ordered from our suppliers at the time we receive your order. Delivery can be expected within 14 days unless there is a delay with the supplier, in which case you will be notified as soon as possible.
Our products are shipped from Dural in NSW.
Refunds and Exchanges
We are able to accept returns or exchanges on any full price items if the items are returned within 14 days of receipt, and include proof of purchase. The item must be in the same condition as received by you. Each item is personally inspected to ensure that it is in perfect condition prior to dispatching, and packaged accordingly. If the item is not to your satisfaction please notify us via email, to sales@contempohomewares.com.au, as soon as possible.
All refunds are made via the same payment method. Refund fees charged by PayPal are non-refundable. Shipping and credit card processing fees are non-refundable. Return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility, unless the return is due to an error on our behalf (e.g. shipment of incorrect item). If the goods are lost in transit we cannot be held liable and therefore recommend you send all returns by insured Registered Post.
